For anyone that knows me, I still sleep with my baby blanket :) (the Puppy dog blanket on the top) My Grandmom has made me tons of blankets in the past, and she made Waylon his first Baby Blanket... Which just so happens to be a puppy dog blanket too :) (not sure why it turned up so pink but you can image what the colors really look like)
Martha (Great GrandMom) is so awesome- that is the most precious thing in the world- combining something that has made you feel safe and secure for all these years with his new blanket= this is just so special- I hope Martha reads these- but if she doesn't Whit you better make sure she knows how impressed and moved I am by this. It is so weird too- cuz like I told you on the phone I was going thru old pictures and when you were about 4 turning 5 soon your mom (GIBBY)came to stay with me in Huntington- and as a working college kid I didn't have a lot of furniture- we had bean bags in the living room- but you loved all the space for running anyway you're not in the picture but Uncle Bruce is laid out on the puppy dog blanket. I don't know how the heck you let him use it- but it looks like we had made a pallet for you in front of TV and had been watching cartoons we must of left the pallet out cuz Bruce is laying across the bean bag semi covered with the puppy dog blanket. Bottom line- you know I like to get off topic- is the blanket is wonderful and I think Martha wins the prize for most thoughtful present and think of the time she spent making it every stitch was made with love. Its great to have a big ole family that loves you - like you said you haven't had a lot of help from someone but your absolutely right that your family and your old and new friends will happily take up the slack- plus we all know that one day the regret will kick in and you can't turn back time.
